Where can I check my emails & WiFi?

You are welcome to check your emails on one of the computers in the office in Inish Beg House. We also have free wifi that can be connected to in the vicinity of the office.

What is there to do within Inish Beg Estate?

During your stay at Inish Beg you can avail of the indoor swimming pool complex (with steam room); walks throughout the gardens and woodlands of the Estate ( ideal for birdwatching and wildlife enthusiasts ), Kids can spend time hunting out pirates on our Pirate Trail (complete with mobile app); view our vintage car collection — and many more activities ideal on our waterfront location. Can we have food delivered to our accommodation, ready for our arrival?

You will find tea, coffee and sugar in your property when you arrive. If you would like to order other provisions to be awaiting your arrival, you can do so through the excellent food store "Fields of Skibbereen" (Tel: 028 21400/+353 28 21400). Payment can be made by credit card and delivery is free.

How close is the nearest pub?

Is there a charge and who can use the swimming pool?

There is no charge to use the swimming pool complex (and steam room room). You can book the pool in hour slots so you have it to yourself. Due to insureance restrictions we regret that no children under the age of 4 may use the swimming pool complex. Children between the ages of 4 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult while in the swimming pool complex. Due to Health & Safety concerns, we cannot allow use of your own paddling pool on the Estate.

How far is my accommodation from the swimming pool?

  • The Foresters House – 800 metres

Is there a fireplace in my cottage?

The five Courtyard Cottages and The Boathouse each have its own Swedish wood burning stove. The Foresters House, The Lodge and The Garden Retreat each have an open fireplace. We provide baskets of wood with your self catering accommodation.

Do we have to pay for electricity?

Prices for self catering accommodation include underfloor central heating, electricity and baskets of wood.

Do you have high chairs and cots?

We can supply high chairs and/or travel cots, if required with your self catering accommodation. We do not supply linen for the cot, so you will need to bring your own, baby's bedding.

Do I need to bring linens?

With your self catering accommodation, we provide bed and household linens (including bath towels), but you do need to bring swimming towels.

What are Check-In and Check-Out times?

We would ask you to arrive here between 4pm and 7pm. If you are unable to arrive before 7pm, please notify us in advance so that we can ensure that you are directed to your accommodation. Departure time is 11am

Is there a bridge? Do I need to take a ferry or boat to the island?

Inish Beg is connected to the mainland via a road bridge, so you do not need to take a boat to get here.

Why can't my booking request be confirmed immediately online?

We get wedding/group enquires who like to hold dates while they sort out their plans. Occasionally, if your booking request falls within one of these reservation periods we give the wedding/group customers the right of first refusal. We endeavour to resolve these matters as quickly as possible. Due to this we can't automate the confirmation process online. We alway do our best to accommodate and honour our customers requests and thank you for your understanding when these matters arise.
