Wedding Ceremonies, Wedding Photography Location

Paul and Georgiana Keane are offering Inish Beg as a location for weddings.

Inish Beg is licenced to hold civil ceremonies at The Boat House and does so provided the wedding party is booking all the accommodation available for a minimum stay of two nights (excluding Bank Holidays when a three night stay is required). Inish Beg is available for weddings at any time of the year except during July and August. As the wedding party is booking all of the accommodation the wedding guests will have exclusive use of all facilities on the estate.

A civil ceremony can be conducted at The Boat House, in which case dates for the ceremony need to be agreed with the Registrar in Cork.

The Boat House, Walled Garden, Main House and landscaped gardens provide the perfect location for wedding photography.

Receptions of up to 60 guests can be held in The Boat House. For larger numbers, the reception can take place in a marquee in a specially designated waterfront setting on the estate. In this case, there is an additional fee.

A vintage car from the Inish Beg Collection can also be provided to transport the bride and groom between Inish Beg and the church or reception venue. The cost depends on the time and mileage involved.

Couples who are considering Inish Beg as the location for their special day can visit Inish Beg where Paul and Georgiana are happy to show them or members of their family around at a mutually convenient time.

There are nine rental self-catering properties at Inish Beg. Four two-bedroom Courtyard Cottages and one three-bedroom Courtyard Cottage, The Garden Retreat, The Lodge, The Foresters House and The Boat House accommodate forty four people in total. Each property has underfloor heating, a TV, DVD and VCR as well as access to an extensive free video library.

Due to insurance restrictions, children must be aged four or more to use the heated indoor swimming pool, steam and exercise rooms.

If you wish to book, a 20% deposit is payable at the time of confirming your booking. The balance is payable six weeks prior to arrival.

Payment may be made by Laser, MasterCard or Visa. You can let us have your credit card details by telephone, fax or e-mail, whichever you prefer.

We do not get involved with the wedding arrangements themselves but should you require help, we can introduce you to experts in this area to assist you with all aspects of your ceremony here at Inish Beg, including, hiring a marquee, catering, bar, flowers, music, photographs, etc.
