Dan and Helen, staying in Courtyard Cottage No 3

We had the most relaxing week here at Inish Beg. Despite the monsoon rains followed by frigid days: nights peaceful. Lovely and so much to do in this lovely part of the world. Baltimore to the Beacon; Lough Hyne; The Church; cemetery just off of the main road; three castles head; dinner at Kalbos in Skibbereen; Bushes Bar in Baltimore and the highlight – seeing Paul perform the lead in Molieres “The Miser”! Look forward to our return soon. Cheers….  Read More: Dan and Helen, staying in Courtyard Cottage No 3

Harry Knowles, age 12, Dublin, Courtyard Cottage No 2

My stay at Inish Beg was wonderful. I thought the house was great. It was a very beautiful island. The pool was the perfect temperature and it was a very pretty pool. I loved the way you could put a request for videos and games and you could buy fresh honey and free range eggs. I loved all the dogs and the farm animals. It had the most beautiful walks through the forest and on the edge of the island. I thought the houses were top class and very well prepared for the guests. I also loved the great scenery around the island. When my dads friends came to see the house he took one look and said WOW! I will definitely be coming back soon….  Read More: Harry Knowles, age 12, Dublin, Courtyard Cottage No 2

The Scott Family, Pennsylvania, staying in Courtyard Cottage No 3

It was a challenge to find Inish Beg even with our clear instructions and a GPS, but once we found it we were hooked. We loved the wooded paths, the walled garden and the bridge. We spent a delightful evening down by the boat slip and admiring all that is rural Ireland. The kids loved swimming in the pool and watching the sheep and the horses. We tried the summer vegetable basket and loved it! The gardener who presented it to us gave helpful tips and answered lots of questions with patience, grace and expert knowledge. We were blessed with splendid weather for most of the week and we had a particularly trip to Baltimore and Sherkin Island. Loch Hyne is a beautiful spot to visit and to walk about. In short we spent a blissful and fun-filled week here at Inish Beg. We were delighted to find so much to do and see and enjoy in the jewel of County Cork….  Read More: The Scott Family, Pennsylvania, staying in Courtyard Cottage No 3

The Moriarty Family, Dublin, Ireland, staying in the Courtyard Cottages

We had a wonderful holiday here with our two little girls – both of whom were captivated by the horses, chickens and ponies – it is a wonderfully designed and impreccably maintained estate – others should look and learn. All awards are well deserved. Sorry to be leaving – 7 nights was simply not long enough! We hope to return soon….  Read More: The Moriarty Family, Dublin, Ireland, staying in the Courtyard Cottages
