Cork Ferry Services
Visitors to West Cork from the UK and France frequently travel by ferry so that they may have their own car for their travels around West Cork and Ireland.
Swansea Cork Ferries and Brittany Ferries provide services directly to the Ringaskiddy Ferry Terminal at the Port of Cork, 60 miles (97km) from Inish Beg.
Additional ferry services operate via the Rosslare Europort in Co. Wexford, which is 178 miles (286 km) away. As Rosslare is the closest point from the southern part of Ireland to the UK and the European Mainland, crossing times are much shorter. Visit the Rosslare Europort web site.
You may also chose to land in Dublin, which is 214 miles (344km) away from Inish Beg, or Belfast which is 316 miles (509 km) away.

“The Boat House at Inish Beg, designed by architect Tony Cohu, has become a famous piece of modernist Irish architecture, sitting proud out on the water on the Inish Beg estate, Frank Lloyd Wright meets Glen Murcott on an island off the coast of – where else?- West Cork. Aside from the Boat House, there are lots of other superbly comfortable cottages to rent in Paul and Georgie Keane’s complex of rental properties, and there is also the terrifically delicious Inish Beg honey to be enjoyed”
